Ugh that darn URL

OK so I’ve been absent for a long while. Mostly because my time is being monopolized by my new jerb and what free time I do have I spend blissfully not doing or thinking about anything because of the stressful day jerb. Stressful in a good way.

So I’ve been doing a lot of back end changes that you’d never realize ever happened. Kinda like that time I saved the world from space alien invaders, but couldn’t talk about it because of this space time continuum issue… oh snap wait… shouldn’t have said that… are you still there?… OK I think we’re good. … anyways so yeah been doing stuff on the back end that has no bearing on anything visible. I mean I guess I could just be making all this up and decided to post about taking the credit for doing something completely fictitious. Nah I wouldn’t do that… I dont think…

So yeah, if you’ve ever messed around with the GRGP site you might have run into a URL with the root domain AmontilladoGroup.com. In fact the domain www.giantrobotguineapig.com points to the subdomain giantrobotguineapig.amontiladogroup.com/blog/. That’s a lot of letters. I’m not a fan of a lot of letters. See my real name isn’t Don, but it’s a heck of a lot easier to pronounce than my real name. In fact it’s almost impossible for humans to audibly pronounce my real name. Anyways, the AmontilladoGroup was an organization that I formed a long time ago that has never taken off. Its the domain in which I bought some hosting space. I’m not a huge fan of it, so I’m going to be buying some new space sometime soon. (If you go to it now, you’ll see all that I’ve done with it.) AmontilladoGroup.com

Currently I’m considering getting some space with 1 and 1 and throwing all the domains under one banner “e42p”. Stands for error42productions, but a lot shorter. 4 letters. I like 4 letters. Its one letter more than my name, er alias. And one letter is alright by me.

So if anyone has and objections or suggestions on this matter, please go ahead and let me know. E42P is sort of my way of paving a road to legitimacy. (I don’t know what that means but it sounded right)

Keep on trucking.
