Odd Shit Found in ChinaTown

Working around ChinaTown means there is quite a bit to be ‘lost in translation’, as it were. I’m sure there is some cultural significance to what this is. Regardless, it made me giggle and I heard Homer Simpson saying ” Mmmm tasty wife” in my head.

Street Fight X Tekken Fan Video Extraordinaire

March 9, 2012
By

I’m all about the Tekken these days it seems. Here is an awesome fan video featuring a fantastic brawl between Ryu, Ken and Kazuya. Honestly, this is better than any of the Streetfighter and Tekken movies combined. The only thing missing is that you don’t see them fighting a bear- which is probably illegal in the States anyway- except Alaska. I hear it’s pretty insane up there. Anyway, watch, comment enjoy and WELCOME TO THE WEEKEND biatches! via

Dead-Sushi-WTF-japan-3

In the tradition of  Mutant Girl Squad and Robo Geisha- Noburu Iguchi brings us yet a another Japanese splatter flick called Dead Sushi. It is exactly what you think it is. Sushi comes back to life pissed off at how it’s treated and begins to attack unsuspecting fish-lovers. I would love itif the guys over at MST3K/Rifftrax would take a play at some of these flicks. Trailer below- enjoy! -GirlDuality

Odd J-Pop Music- Lady Gaga Seems Tame By Comparison

February 28, 2012

So admittedly, J-pop is not for everyone. For some reason I have a pretty high tolerance for it. In fact, I could listen to this kinda thing all day. In contrast, that ‘what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger’ song played hundreds of times a day on the U.S. airwaves- makes me want to throw my radio over the Gowanus Canal. Here is Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. Even if you aren’t into J-Pop, you have to admit the stylist is fantastic
